Established in Beaufort, SC in January of 2019, what better way to bring the love of our Greek family to Beaufort. The mission is for Mezes to be a place for gathering with friends and family while enjoying traditional Mediterranean cuisine. When you think of good comfort food, you think of grandma’s home cooking. The owners, cousins by blood, carefully crafted the menu with their Yia Yia’s kitchen and recipes in mind. While it’s still comforting, the Mediterranean style cuisine is made of pure quality foods and herbs, bound together by healthy fats that our hearts and brains need to thrive. Old world meets new world.

The restaurant was very loud. Had only greek food which some of the people in our party did not enjoy. I thought the manager was rude.

We spent a month visiting Beaufort, and Mezes became "our place." We lost track of how many times we visited (10, 11, 12?). I'm sure all their staff are great, but we always sat at the bar and were taken such good care of by Bobby, Michael and Ozzie. One of the owners (George) could not have been more gracious and friendly to these out-of-towners. Just great people, wonderful food that was simply and professionally prepared, and a comfortable vibe where you can (as we did) quickly feel at home.
